"The New Generation" Show cast members - Part 2

"The New Generation" International TV Series cast members came right out of Australia's long running TV series "Young Talent Time" (aka "YTT")

The Young Generation (ages 10-13)

Members (oldest to youngest):

Johnnie Nuich
Born: 7-1-1975
He was age 13 on "The New Generation" TV series and the oldest of "The Young Generation" group members.

Juanita Coco
Born: 12-10-1975
She was the oldest girl of "The Young Generation" group members and did a remarkable job in an "Annie Get Your Gun" performance as well as "Born To Rock N Roll".  Sadly, Juanita was killed in a car crash 5 years after "The New Generation" show ended, at the age of 17.  This was a huge shocker for the cast members who had grew up with her on the show.

Jamie Churchill
Born: 5-26-1976
Jamie must have seen something in his co-star Rikki because the two eventually were married and now have a family together.

Joey Dee
Born: 7-7-1976
Even though Joey was the youngest of the boys, he instantly became the most popular member of "The Young Generation" group and was the one all of the girl's screamed for.  His looks strongly resembled older cast member Vince, for which the two occasionally performed together with many fans thinking they were brothers.  Joey is still a widely popular singer today and an accomplished song writer.

Rikki Arnott
Born: 10-19-1976
With her gorgeous long blond hair, she had really hard shoes to fill since she took the place of Dannii on the Australian series, who was one of the most popular members ever.  Rikki went on to marry co-star Jamie Churchill and now have a family together.

Courtney Compagnino
Born: 11-12-1977
She was the youngest cast member of the entire show but by far proved her outstanding talents in many of the show's most memorable performances.  Courtney became the most popular girl of the younger group mainly due to her pizzazz and usage or some very interesting facial expressions.  Her performance of "Superman" flying in the sky with Joey as the boy/man of steel is indeed one of the most memorable of the entire "TNG" show.  After the series, she went on to singing and acting in television.

NOTE: A year after "The New Generation" show ended all six of the cast members of "The Young Generation" (the same 6 members listed above) returned for a made for video feature titled, "Young Talent Time - Now 1990".  Although Joey's mullet was gone, he featured more of a New Kids On The Block hair style.  The video is still highly sought by fans of the show.
